With pen tip side up, unscrew the barrel 2. Remove the used ink refill & metal spring 3. Remove the tip protector from the new refill 4. Insert new refill & replace the spring 5. Screw the pen barrel back together IMPORTANT Warning! Keep out of extreme temperatures. The ink will disappear when exposed to high heat (149°F/65°C) and reappear when exposed to cold (-18°F/-0.4°C).
